Where our links come from

What we refuse to do
Paid link networks, private blog networks, bulk directory blasts, comment spam and "5,000 backlinks for INR 999" packages. Google's spam systems discount these, and a manual action can remove a site from results for months. Social bookmarking on its own does not move rankings today. We may bookmark a new article to help it get discovered, and that is all it is good for.
Are free backlinks worth anything?
Some are. A listing on a respected directory, a profile on an industry association or a link from a supplier costs nothing and counts. A free link from a site that exists only to sell links counts for nothing. The test is simple: would a real customer ever visit that page?
Quality over count
One link from a relevant, trusted site is worth more than a hundred from unrelated ones. We report every link with its URL, the page it points to and the anchor text, so you can open each one.
About buying backlinks
Paying for links that pass ranking credit is against Google's spam policies. Sponsored placements are fine when marked as sponsored, and they can bring visitors, but they should not be counted as SEO links. We will tell you which is which.
